Content

Brief introduction (what is Audio Description and what is it good for?) with examples from different films.

Participants will then prepare (in groups of 2 or 3) a description of their own of a small scene from a movie or TV-movie.

The result is presented and discussed in the group and compared to the Audio Description done by professional describers.

Target Audience People who are interested in the Audio Description but have no or little knowledge of it.
Prerequisite Knowledge None.
Outcome To gain an understanding of what Audio Descriptions means to blind and visually impaired people and to gain an insight into the work of a describer.
