Dr Mike Wald

Dr Wald leads research into the use of speech recognition for captioning and transcription in education at the University of Southampton and was a cofounder of the Liberated Learning Consortium. He has established a centre to provide technology assessments for students in higher education and has taught and supported students of all ages, abilities and disabilities as well as advising UK governmental organisations, colleges and universities on the use of technologies to make learning and teaching more accessible.
