Gert Vercauteren

Gert Vercauteren works as a junior lecturer at the University College Antwerp where he teaches computer assisted translation as well as literary and audiovisual translation in the Portuguese department. His field of research is AVT in general and audio description in particular. He is currently pursuing a PhD on narratology and content selection in AD and is involved in a European research project on accessibility coordinated by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
