Submission of Proposals

If you would like to submit a proposal for a pre-conference workshop, please submit:

  • A 500-word description of the workshop that includes the title, target group, content, content level and any prerequisite knowledge
  • An outline of the proposed structure
  • A biographical note on the person(s) giving the workshop including previous experience in conducting such events
  • Details of any technical requirements for the workshop

If you would like to submit a proposal for a presentation in one of the parallel sessions, please provide a 500-word overview stating clearly:

  • The content to be addressed and its relevance to the chosen theme
  • Who the authors are and who will be presenting in Berlin in case of acceptance
  • A biographical note on the presenter(s) outlining experience and
    including presentations at other conferences

If you would like to submit a proposal for a panel discussion, please provide a 500-word overview stating clearly:

  • The issues to be raised in the discussion
  • The names of the panelists
  • A biographical note on the panelists

Deadline for submitting proposals is May 16th, 2008.

Selection of papers:

Presenters of selected proposals will be notified by the organisers and receive further details. Your full address must appear on all correspondence. Please note that a proposal may be accepted for a presentation in a format or under a sub-theme different from the one proposed.

Abstracts of accepted proposals will be printed in English in the Book of Abstracts and will need to be submitted by the required date and in the required format.
